Who Ian Traynor
Where Edinburgh born and still living there with his wife, two children and (N+1) bikes.
What Confident at mixing pixels with point sizes, Ian is never happier than when sticking his nose in fresh print.
How With 19 years experience behind him, he's now pretty adept at making a decent cup of tea.
Why Work for money, design for love.
When (not at work) he'll either be on, tinkering with or cleaning at least one bike.
Who Katie Chisholm
Where Born in Edinburgh, moved south and developed an English accent that she just can’t shake, then off to sunny Greece and got a taste for the warmth (and a tan) then back to Edinburgh (tan is now from a bottle). Currently living in Linlithgow trying to keep warm.
What Design and creativity that makes people happy. Katie wants to see that look of delight when a client first sees a design and thinks “nailed it”.
How Always learning and listening to clients, being inspired by the people and world around.
Why To make the word a more colourful and better designed place. A typical Libran, she lives for the symmetry.
When (not at work) Playing with the kids (and feisty cat) or can be found running around Linlithgow Loch… again and again… and again.
Who Ron Aitken
What Engages audiences with great ‘sticky’ content, which aims to inspire people to action. It’s all about the end result.
How Begin with the client’s objectives, naturally; then develop insight into the motivations of their stakeholders, add a strategic dash of surprise, and dish up the resulting stories as truly tasty copy!
When (not at work): tending towards becoming a bit of a geology geek.
Where (next): After ticking Iceland off the bucket list last year, next aspirational destination is the Grand Canyon. Otherwise, generally to be found at a desk in sunny Leith.
Why Haven’t yet saved the fare for Arizona.
Who Stewart Charman
Where Like most people in Edinburgh, English born and bred but married a local lass, has two children and is still working on getting a dog.
What Master of words, helping to shape messages and tell stories.
How Journalist by trade but a crafty copywriter with more years’ experience than he’d care to admit to already.
Why The secret to great writing is the ability to listen.
When (not at work) Nurturing his inner #Avgeek by helping to build the first de Havilland Mosquito in the UK for 75+ years.
